One of Scotland's greatest rivers, the Spey is rich in both natural beauty and history. It's the eighth longest river in the UK and is Scotland's fastest flowing too. It has a proud whisky heritage, with Speyside's distilleries being the most prolific than any other.

This section of the river is joined by Newtonmore's Wildcat Trail, a lovely loop of the village.
