Arrived at our second destination, the island of Mull on the west coast of Scotland. We crossed over from Oban. After settling into our cottage in Gruline, we went to explore the surroundings of the cottage. And it was green: meadows, bushes, not far from a lake and much more.

On the way to our next holiday destination, Isle of Mull, we stayed overnight in Arrochar, a small Scottish village on Loch Long. After dinner, we took a walk partly along the loch, partly up a forest path. Because the path we wanted to take for the return journey was interrupted, we returned the same way.

It was a tough hike, but we were rewarded with beautiful views along the way and at the summit.
The steep descent also required a lot of effort.
