The most demanding tour to the Großer Falkenstein (1,315 m) leads over the Höllbachspreng, a wild and romantic landscape with many small waterfalls and an original mixed mountain forest. The Höllbachspreng is one of the oldest nature reserves in the region, since 1997 this area has been part of the Bavarian Forest National Park. The Höllbach Falls are at the entrance to the path, after which the steep path meanders through the impressive rock formations.
