This path awakens the desire for hiking and for discovering the wild forest nature in the Bavarian Forest National Park for children from the age of 4. At the stream, in a small shelter, at the small rock formation on the Ochsenriegel, there are enough opportunities to play so that it doesn't get boring on the way. The 'Crayfish' circular route is certified by the German Hiking Association in the 'Family fun' category.

With snowshoes it is a very exhausting tour through the wintry national park forests around the mountain village of Waldhäuser. Passing the legendary Teufelsloch we go to the old Triftsanlage Martinsklause and on to the Glasarche on the southwest slope of the Lusen before we return to the starting point in Waldhäuser.
