From Zwieseler Stadtplatz, head to the parish church and along the cemetery. Keep right, leave the town at the outskirts on the cycle and foot path and hike left past fish ponds up the slope to Lindberg. At the Schmid glassworks, turn left down the Stations of the Cross (Kreuzweg) into the town center

Now it gets really lonely! Starting in the village center of Finsterau, you enter a landscape of small-scale farming. Across meadows and forests, a small hamlet called Finsterauer Reuten is reached on remote mountain pastures. From here, it is not far to the Hammerklause, which is perfect for a break

A hike through the cultural landscape between Bučina and Knižecí Pláně in the Šumava National Park. The "Mourning Cloak" circular trail leads from the Buchwald/Bučina border crossing into the Šumava National Park. Along the way, we discover many remnants of the eventful history of this border region

Short but mighty: This is the classic circular trail marked "Haselhuhn" through the rocky hiking area. Hikers immerse themselves in truly wild mountain mixed forests, scramble over stony paths and even over finely arranged stone steps before entering the small rock labyrinth of the Kleine Kanzel. There

This variant leads mystically upwards through a narrow stream valley. Following the hiking line „Ranne“, you first go steadily in sight of the Kleine Ohe over stones and roots up to the Martinsklause. The pond was once created for timber rafting. From there, the route continues over the Teufelsloch

A peaceful hike to the rustic Rachel service hut. From the center of the glassmaking village of Riedlhütte, the trail leads into the heart of the national park. Following the "porcini mushroom" marker, you'll find stunning views of the Rachel and Lusen mountains right at the edge of the protected area

This tour is actually just a walk – but an extremely rewarding one. Below the Rachel, a larger area of windthrow was left to its own devices for the first time in the 1980s. You can experience firsthand how dynamically the forest has developed since then on the Seelensteig. Here, a narrow wooden boardwalk

The highest mountain in the national park beckons with alpine-style trails and scenic highlights. At the Seeblick viewpoint, we catch a fantastic glimpse of Lake Rachel from above, to which we descend after crossing the summit via some steep sections. Passing the Rachel Chapel and Lake Rachel, the trail

In the shadow of the Falkenstein massif, this easy linear tour connects Zwieslerwaldhaus with the Falkenstein National Park Centre. Without any significant ascents, following the „Luchsfährte“ trail marker, it first leads across the Wildniscamp, where school classes are mainly accommodated. The path
