Mountain Biking Highlight
The predominantly forest-leading Glashüttenweg - it also follows the Hexenstieg - makes a scenic access to the highest mountain in the Harz National Park in the border region of Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, the Brocken (1,142 m).
It is possible to take the Brocken Railway back to the starting point, while descending to Schierke and returning from there by bus (note bus times at the starting point). Of course, also with the wheel conquerable.

On this rocky path you can carry your bike up to the boulder children. At the top, a trail runs in both directions.
The Red Dot Trail is a slightly technical S1 trail.
The Kapellenklippenweg is also an S1 trail that winds around the trees and has a few technical points.
