From the cliff you have a wonderful view over Schierke to Wurmberg and Brocken. The Ahrensklint is one of many climbable cliffs in the Hochharz and is located directly on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg. If you are a fan of the Harzer hiking pin, you will find a stamp box here.

Located at 822m you will find here another stamp office of the Harzer hiking nobility - number 13. About quite powerful metal ladders succeed even untrained the rise, which is really worthwhile. Not only for the photo view, but also for orientation opens up a great view towards Wurmberg and Brocke. Fun fact: Ahrensklint is derived from "Eagle cliff / eagle rock" and is here the oldest name of a forest village, since he changed in 1400 between forest tenants.

The possibility of climbing (solid metal ladders) to the Ahrensklint provides a great all-round view, which includes both the Brocken plateau and the Wurmberg.

A granite rock that lies directly on the Glashüttenweg. This path leads from Drei Annen Hohne up to the Brocken. The rock is noted as a stamp 13 in the Harz hiking pin. The Ahrensklint is also accessible thanks to iron ladders. If you venture up, you can look up to the chunk.

The Ahrensklint can be easily climbed using the ladders. Very nice view of the Brocken.
August 26, 2020
The stamp box was moved a few meters and is now not directly on the Ahrensklint, but on the way in front of it.
September 23, 2019
The Ahrentsklint is located above Schierke am Glashüttenweg.
From the cliff you have an impressive panoramic view of the Brocken, the Wurmberg, the groin cliffs and on Oberschierke.
April 15, 2019
The Ahrentsklint (822 m above sea level) is located above Schierke on Glashüttenweg. From the cliff you have an impressive all-round view of the Brocken, the Wurmberg, the Leistenklippen and Oberschierke. The Ahrentsklint was under the name "Arneklint" (Adlerfels) the oldest name of a forest place in the Schierker area.

Insane rock formation. Unfortunately I didn't get up with my dogs through the steel ladders.
