Always worth a visit

The Waldgaststätte Molkenhaus can be reached on foot or by bus (May-October).
At an altitude of 528 ü. NN you can stop in the quaint Waldgasthaus and have this undisguised view - a clearing with wild feeding (in the winter months) and the beautiful Harz forests.

Stamp position 23 / Molkenhausstern
The Molkenhaus star (733 meters above sea level) is a crossroads near various attractive cliff formations.It lends itself to the tour to connect with other destinations. From here you can reach the Zeterklippe HWN 10, the groin cliff HWN 15 or the wolf cliff HWN 24.

The Molkenhausstern is located between Wernigerode Hasserode and Ilsenburg. The “star” is nothing more than a crossroads on the Molkenhaus Chaussee.

If you don't know, then take a close look and take the small (almost inconspicuous) path that goes a little to the right from the path towards Schierke - it goes up to the Zeterklippen and is a thousand times more beautiful than the path over to the Glashüttenweg. From above you can either turn shortly before the Yellow Brink onto the Glashüttenweg or take a rocky trail (more of a scree slope) to the Yellow Brink. The small and large Zeter cliffs are also worth a detour. In the past there were even summit books - but it was definitely not on top for 20 years ...
