The route here goes directly through the Bode.
We didn't dare to go over there with the MTB. But you can bypass the place by road.

Please note that there is a parking ban both in front of and behind the railway bridge due to the sign "traffic-calmed area / play street". A citizen diligently indicates the parked hikers. I have just transferred a warning money to the town of Oberharz am Brocken.

Such a branch is now a highlight. Also clearly visible on the map.
