Most of the mountain bikers and hikers who have climbed the Brocken ride back down without doing a lap around the Brocken plateau, but that would be a crowning glory with a beautiful view in all four directions, and the path also marks the course of the former Wall that completely crazy people had built around the Brocken summit ....
