The small, idyllic town is located on the shore of Lake Amsoldling. The peaks of the impressive Stockhorn range tower behind Amsoldingen. The striking basilica, which stands out in its appearance from the churches in the area, is well worth seeing. The fact that the tower doesn't seem to fit in with the ensemble is because it was added later.

Small, fine and a pretty feast for the eyes in all sorts of outward, forward and far-sighted views. The Amsoldinger Church in particular is a real eye-catcher.
