A fantastic hike at the gateway to the Bernese Oberland. Most of the route is under trees. Sometimes it goes down, sometimes up and in between straight out. The level is low, the surroundings are a feast for the eyes with a final reward in the form of a view of the Eiger Mönch and ... Jungfrau. When the sky is clear, you can't get enough of your fill, especially on the last third of the turn. The choice of parking spaces (free of charge!) Is very limited. We were here for the first, but not the last time! Joy prevails! 😘

Not for the first time, we stroll around the Schwarzsee, but for the first time, it presents itself to us with a white ice dress. Almost flat and mostly wheelchair accessible and pram-friendly, the route runs along the bank. A detour to the waterfall (signposted) is worthwhile. In the high season, almost all year round, there are at least as many parking spaces as there are tourists. So you are less lonely here. Every now and then there are nice public toilets along the way. Except for Corona Time. There are also a few barbecues and resting places, but not an infinite number. In the "Schwarzseestärn" restaurant, the avowed gourmet dines, in the "Gipsera", everyone who prefers things a little easier. Each one his. 5.- costs the parking fee for the whole day. Pay digitally via Parking Pay ect. is possible. I wish you a lot of fun and wonderful moments at the Schwarzsee.

This hike, which is undemanding in itself, offers an incomparably wonderful alpine view and distant view of the Oberland Alps, especially in the best weather. You just want to stand there and no longer look away. Free parking is available at the start and the paths are clearly and neatly marked. At the middle point, if you follow the sign, you go up a little steeply once. Unfortunately, we were a bit handicapped that day and took a short shortcut. Excuse! 😄 A little audience can be expected at the weekend. It's not that wild! 👍🏼

What an end times mood! Saharan dust covers Switzerland. We start at a large parking lot (chargeable) and walk towards Oberland to the Auguet Bridge, which we cross, only to go back towards Bern afterwards. We walk along the Aare to the Bodenacher ferry, where the ferryman takes us to the other bank for 2 Stutz per adult. There is a wonderful café to go at the Fähribeizli restaurant, despite Corona Lockdown, as a takeaway. Now it's back along the Aare towards the Oberland, to the parking lot. It is now splendidly filled. The Aare is a local recreation area for dogs, bikers, joggers, strollers, bathers and barbecue enthusiasts. You're never all alone. 😀
