Also for locals like me, always a sublime place. When you are alone and block out the bustle of traffic far below, the Burgunderweg has something almost mystical about it. The view towards Thun or over Lake Thun...or even the Oberland is unique. On the back side of the ridge, when the weather is nice, the observer can see the Stockhorn and the Niesen.
