Hiking
With 14 works, including “The Cross in the Mountains” and “Two Men Contemplating the Moon”, the Albertinum has one of the largest collections from all of Caspar David Friedrich's creative phases. It's worth a visit because you'll gain a fascinating insight into Friedrich's outstanding ability to combine nature and romanticism in art.

Hiking
One of the city's absolute museum highlights with art from the Romantic period to the present from East and West and always wonderful special exhibitions.
Even if you don't have time for the great collection of sculptures and paintings, this is a highlight because the large courtyard spanned by the archive and therefore covered with a café and bookshop is freely accessible as an arcade.

Hiking
The Albertinum is located at the eastern end of the Brühlsche Terrasse in Dresden. Its origin is an armory that was converted into a museum building by Carl Adolph Canzler at the end of the 19th century. The name Albertinum goes back to King Albert of Saxony, who reigned at the end of the 19th century.
