I always enjoy riding this bike path. Shortly before Thurnau you have to duck your head because the bike path goes right through the golf course. The unpaved cycle path to Thurnau goes down into the Rot Main Valley to Neudrossenfeld.

Wonderful railway cycle path between Thurnau via Kasendorf to Melkendorf near Kulmbau, fine asphalt and extremely moderate gradients.
