Steep Ascent Between Zultenberg and Lindenberg

The connecting road between Zultenberg and Lindenberg. A very steep route for setting new speed records ;-) But: BEWARE ONCOMING TRAFFIC

A nice, steep piece of bike path between the trees.
Seen in this way, it is a descending slope from Franconian Switzerland to the Main Valley...

Be careful, this is not a cycle path but a narrow road. The climb is quite steep and deeply cut into the sandstone with rocks on the right and left. Located on the slope on the north side, it is therefore mostly shady and easy to ride even in summer. Uphill, this is a good alternative to the Kasendorf - Azendorf state road and the straight Kasendorf - Zultenberg racing route. Even the access road from Kasendorf towards Lindenberg is very nice to ride. The turnoff up to Zultenberg is at the highest point on a saddle just before Lindenberg. There is no signpost to Zultenberg. ( 2024)
