The Foveaux cottage, an old building with a triangular gable, was renovated in 1992 by the civic association Küdinghoven. It was built in 1820 by the Cologne tobacco manufacturer Heinrich Josef Foveaux, who had a summer residence on the Rhine. There, hikers and students sat at the time of the Rhine romantic on the western plateau of Ennert and enjoyed the view of the Siebengebirge and the Rhine Valley.

The Foveaux cottage is a historic lookout in the wooded Ennert ridge of the right bank Bonn city district Beuel. It lies on Foveauxweg about 80 m above sea level. NHN on the district of Küdinghoven associated western Ennert Plateau. The Rhine is about 1800 meters away.
The pavilion is listed as an architectural monument. The Foveaux cottage is one of the attractions of the Ennertwald, which serves as a recreation area for the Cologne / Bonn metropolitan area an important recreational function.
