In particular, the surroundings of rich forest, the slight hill in many places, make a tour around the Wuppertalsperre a feast for the eyes 😉👌
You should plan about 11-13 km to hike around the northern dam. It is also worthwhile a bit south of the car bridge, but then such a trip would easily increase to 22 km and more.
There are enough rest areas in many sections, on top of that they are well chosen and all ensure a beautiful view of the water ⛵️
