The Wupper dam serves the flood protection and the low water increase of the Wupper and was opened in 1987 and offers today habitat for numerous animal and plant species and is today a popular destination.

Here you will find ideal conditions for water sports: The bathing area is located at the Kräwinkler bridge (water sports and leisure facility). There you have in addition to bathing also opportunities to explore the dam by water from the boat and pedal boat rentals.

Diving licenses can also be purchased for the underwater world.

    A snack completes the offer.
