Lakes in Bergisches Land

A hike from Schloss Burg, via the Diederich temple to the dam wall, is very easy to do and there is a lot to see. The hike can be extended by simply doing another lap around the dam itself.

Here you have a great view of the large Dhünntalsperre, after all Germany's second largest drinking water dam. All around is a lot of nature with many rare and protected species.

Nice place for a little break. Was here for the last time about 45 years ago, somehow everything was bigger back then, nicer, more attractive, just childhood memories. Still beautiful nonetheless.
