Today Dahlhausen station consists of three tracks at two platforms. Tracks 1 and 2 are intended primarily for regular S-Bahn traffic, while track 3 is used for museum traffic on the Ruhr Valley Railway. In addition to these tracks, in 2015 a siding was provided with a platform for the feeder traffic to the railway museum.

I do not know how to change the description of the Dahlhausen station, but this is not Bochum-Dahlhausen - that fits the description - and here is not the Ruhr Valley Railway, but this is the old route Wuppertal-Oberbarmen to Radevormwald , In addition, the route was always easy to read. And in the 70s there was a tragic accident with a rail bus at a passing place.

On the site of the former station of Dahlhausen today are partially historic railway vehicles whose highlight for many visitors is the huge old steam locomotive. The approximately eight-kilometer long heritage-protected section of the route is to be renovated and be used in a few years, together with the former station building for excursions with historic trains. Until then, you can explore the terrain independently and take a close look at the existing vehicles, wagons and components.

The former station is located on the railway line from Remscheid-Lennep to Wuppertal-Oberbarmen, the Wuppertal Railway. It was opened in 1886 by the Bergisch-Märkische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft and branches off from Wuppertal-Oberbarmen shortly after the Wuppertal-Rauenthal depot.

Dahlhausen / Wupper is a formerly chic station on the disused railway line W - Beyenburg - Radevormwald, which once brought workers to the textile factories, hammer mills and quarries located in the Wupper valley. The faded wooden shingles in different colors were certainly worth seeing.
There are a few discarded freight and passenger wagons as well as a steam locomotive and a few work vehicles in the vicinity. In the area you can find out a lot about the changeful history of the last centuries on information boards.
