The last Reifenberger knight is buried in the St. Gertudis chapel, which is also called "Bassenheim grave chapel" by locals.
In this chapel, according to the legend, two Reifenbergers said all the prayers they knew on Christmas Eve, after they had unwittingly personally tugged with Satan and played cards instead of going to Christmas mass.
