Burgruine Hattstein

If you stand on top of the castle, you do not notice that you are on one. Only coming from the southeast you can still see a high wall on the mountain.
At the top you have a natural rock bench, but not a view. Nevertheless, this is a nice place for a rest. In September 2018 a "secluded" place, completely without garbage.

You should keep your eyes open, otherwise you will easily overlook the ruin as it has decayed heavily.

One of the greatest "Lost Places" in the Taunus! My recommendation: climb through the former moat to the ruins of the castle ....
