A great start to winter like we haven't had in a long time ❄️❄️❄️
Plenty of over 20 cm of fresh snow in Hochtaunus within 24 hours!
And that too in November 👌😉
So let’s get going and get on the skis for the SkiOpening of the 2023/24 season 💥💥💥

Finally a good day again to get some oxygen and some sunlight in the Taunus 🤩
Unfortunately, the weathermen were once again completely wrong.
Instead of the predicted 4 hours of sunshine, there were 2 hours of drizzle 👌😅
Wolfram/Ts. 🇺🇦 went for a hike.

Autumnal high-altitude tour over Glaskopf, Gr.Feldberg and Pferdeskopf. Unfortunately (contrary to the weather forecast) clouds rolled in quite early, which unfortunately marred the Indian Summer magic considerably... 😏
Wolfram/Ts. 🇺🇦 and 2 others went mountain biking.

We finally managed to get everyone from our little ski & mountain bike group together 👌😅
Conclusion: It was really nice again... and every now and then we really let it rip together 👍😉

I probably made good use of the last sunny late summer day in the late afternoon today 👌😋
Wolfram/Ts. 🇺🇦 and Rainer went mountain biking.

In the wonderful late summer weather, another enjoyable walk over the Vogelsberg, with a stop at our "Würstchen-Doro (To the beautiful view)" 🤩
We were also traveling for the first time in the large northwestern Vogelsberg headwaters of Wetter, Horloff and Seenbach.

Numerous flowing trails, interesting lost places, an idyllic beaver biotope, a lot of beautiful viewpoints, ... were the reward for this somewhat extensive, but above all very enjoyable, Taunus tour 🤩

Explorations in one of the river sections in Europe with the most castles - the lower Neckar valley - were on our program yesterday.
Stolzeneck Castle, Minneburg, Zwingenberg Castle and Eberbach Castle were our special destinations there!
