Tips
The sea of rocks "Jägerfelsen" is one of the natural monuments around Heidelberg (and since 1992 also a nature reserve). Several protected species live in the former red sand quarry - "Naturally Heidelberg" offers guided tours here from time to time, during which you can learn a lot about flora and fauna.

The Jägerfelsen are a fairly large rubble field with large sandstones. There are three paths here - one below, one above the scree field and one through the middle.

Very nice nature trail. Sometimes very high vegetation, long trousers recommended. There is also a steep drop to one side. Impressive rocks and stumps.
