In Freiburg, seven sections of the city wall, six towers, five gates and this one bulwark can be visited. The bulwark, however, is only open in autumn.Next to the bulwark to the north, there is a short section of the city wall. After a gap, the western defensive wall begins, the longest section of fortification walls still in existence in Switzerland.
