The church was built in the 15th century from large monk stones. The Graubrüderkirche was in the Middle Ages' St. Michael 'and' St. Frans' consecrated. Since 1532 she is a parish church.
The most important treasures of the church are the Mecklemburg pedigree, a 33 square meter work and a painting by Lucas Cranach. In addition, the church has a carillon with 26 bells. Access to the herb and presentation garden. It is also possible to hear the F.H.Ramus organ from 1858.

It is worth visiting the monastery church. Here you can admire the pedigree of Queen Sophie (1557 - 1631, Duchess of Mecklenburg-Güstrow, wife of King Frederick II of Denmark), part of the church furnishings. The Herzog-ULrich-Monument in Güstrow Cathedral is dedicated to her father.

The inside of the church isn't particularly special, to be honest.
