Klosterkirken, also known as Nykøbing Church, is a magnificent Gothic church located in the heart of Nykøbing Falster on the Danish island of Falster. Standing at an elevation of around 50 metres above sea level, this historic religious building dates back to the 15th century and holds deep connections to Danish royalty and the town's rich past. Originally established as a Franciscan monastery in 1419 by Eric of Pomerania, it later became a central parish church for the community.

    The church was built in the 15th century from large monk stones. The Graubrüderkirche was in the Middle Ages' Sct. Michael and Sct. Frans' consecrated. Since 1532 she is a parish church. The most important treasures of the church are the Mecklemburg pedigree, a 33 square meter work and a painting by Lucas Cranach. In addition, the church has a carillon with 26 bells.
    For me as Mecklenburg is of course the Mecklenburg pedigree very appealing.

    The Abbey Church is a Gothic church from the 15th century. It was built in 1419 on the initiative of King Erik VII as a church for the Franciscan monastery there, which belonged to the Dacia Province and existed until 1532, when it was dissolved as a result of the Reformation.
