Another test drive, this time almost everything was there; Racetrack, cobblestones, forest road (partially marbled asphalt) and dirt road went quite well. The carbon frame springs surprisingly good bumps off. For now, a "mountain" has to wait for a test, due to geographical reasons.

Contrary to the predictions we had better weather than predicted. With short rain showers you always have to reckon in the fall.
On this tour, the cranes were pretty far away on a field, so photography was borderline. Nevertheless, it was a nice sight to see so many of the birds in a heap. Surely we could have observed an even larger accumulation at a later date on their berths, but then would not have arrived in the rifle light in Rostock.

The 2nd test run with the Cyclcrosser Focus 105 went quite well. However, it will take a few more kilometers to get to the country. So far, I have tested it only on the road and on bike paths - Terrain is still pending, also because I still have to get used to the sports steering wheel.

Today a combination of bike and canoe tour.
First, after leaving Rostock through the Warnow Valley and finally following the bike path Berlin-Copenhagen to Schwaan. After a fortification at the local very good bakery and a short return tour to Benitz it went here in the boats. We paddled through the territory of the Eisvogel, Reiher & Co on the Warnow to our destination near the Rostock Warnowschleuse.
On the way there were some waterfowl observed, most of which were quite camera shy. It was also interesting to get to know the life on and on the river (water properties, boathouses, anglers and two boats of the Rocker rowing club during training). Since we also had luck with the weather this tour is just right after a repetition next year.

Today, 18 day visitors from Denmark took me on a sightseeing tour in Rostock city center. First, it went with the wheels from the ferry center in the overseas port to the New Market. After parking the bikes then the city center would be explored on foot and various attractions inspected. The return to the seaport then led along the east bank of the Warnow and Zehlendorf.

Today, the annual ticket for the bird park Marlow should be used again. Despite the autumnal weather there was still a lot of traffic there and many children with parents or grandparents on the way. The offered air shows are underlined by the animal trainers with information about the shown birds. As you can see in the pictures, other animals are shown in the bird park next to the birds. Some can also be fed with the purchased feed.
The unpleasant "encores", such as a muddy and disarranged section on the former railway line, headwind and drizzle on the return trip you just have to accept.
A cracked chain just before home and the associated small walk is, thank God, extremely rare (for me for the first time).

Roughly speaking, the tour has the shape of an eight, while I followed a slightly earlier changed slightly changed. I find the Krakower Lakes, there is a submarine and a Obersee, are the better known and more popular Mürritz in terms of nature in nothing. But here you have more peace, because not so crowded. Cycle-wise, the bike paths are okay, small sandy passages are easy to get over and the hilly landscape is worth next to the lookout towers with magnificent views.
Especially recommended is Dobbin, because here some original buildings can be considered almost in their original condition. They are still waiting for a restoration.
The short visit to the shepherd's beech, Mecklenburg's strongest beech, was an unplanned encore.
