In the church there is a Romanesque baptismal font made of basalt lava (end of the 11th century, "1 m high and 87 cm in diameter (...); cup-shaped, with a hexagonal edge, underneath an acanthus frieze running around" (Clemen 1938, p. 444). The patron saint of the church is St. Germanus, born around 378 in Auxerre, died in Ravenna on July 31, 448 (other sources: 437 or 450), bishop in Auxerre since 418; teacher of St. Patrick, among others
