As you approach the archway to the castle, which dominates the town of the same name, Burgbrohl, you will see an alliance coat of arms and (in Roman numerals) the year 1731. Just before the archway, the path leads to the right onto a terrace with a view and a restaurant, where hikers can refresh themselves.
