The old Salzwedel fire station is located here.A brick building with a hose tower, which now bears the name "House of Volunteers". The DRK as well as the water rescue and rescue dog squadron of the DRK are now located here.The old fire station was converted within two years, in over 7000 working hours, by a good 50 volunteers.
