The listed old "Kaiser-Apotheke" (Emperor's Pharmacy) in Bergkirchen (Volmerdingsener Str. 300, 32549 Bad Oeynhausen, district of Bergkirchen), a good 100 meters southeast of the church, was built in 1896 by Dr. Siek in the "Swiss style" unusual for East Westphalia. The two-story brick building with a gable-topped central projection and a tower-like side projection (corner bay) with a pyramidal roof is now used as a residential building (the pharmacy is now in the building diagonally opposite). It was named after Kaiser Wilhelm II (1859-1941; 1888-1918), who stayed here overnight during the "Kaiser Maneuvers" in September 1898. The so-called Kaiser bust on the wall of the building is one of the very few monuments (perhaps even the only one) to the last German emperor.
