According to an inscription, this Wallholländer mill was built in 1880. The strongly conical mill tower made of bricks, plastered on the weather side, can be seen from afar. On the baking days, the visit can be combined with a boat and vintage train ride.

Very nice facility around the mill. You can even get married here! The registry office is right next door. One of the most beautiful places on our mill tour.

Windmill Südhemmern
According to an inscription, the Wallholländer is said to have been built in 1880. The strongly conical mill tower made of bricks, plastered on the weather side, can be seen from afar. This mill was the first to be renovated as part of the County Mill Conservation Program. As early as 1980, the mill was able to "go into operation" again.
With the mill, Südhemmern belongs to the Westphalian Mill Road and Mill Route. Day trippers can also reach the mill from Minden by boat at the Südhemmern landing stage and by museum railway after a short walk.
