The tower stands at the highest point of the Wittekindberg. From its viewing platform you can see the surrounding mountains, a section of the Weser Valley and the southern part of the North German Plain.

You can learn a lot about our bog bodies on the wooden path near this tower. This tower is also ideal for photographing the sunrise.

Very nice bike path along the Werre. Partly graveled, partly paved, but always good to drive. Also suitable for families. Great views of nature and the river.
