The Fonte Monumental de Mouzinho da Silveira is a historic fountain located in the center of Porto, specifically on Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, between Rua do Souto and Praça de Almeida Garrett, in the parish of Vitória.
It was built in 1875 as part of the project to open Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, designed in 1872.
It is located in the supporting arch of Rua de Pelames, which was maintained by the construction of a large arch to avoid cutting off one of the city's oldest arteries.
In 1924–1925, two commercial buildings were built inside the arch, prompting the City Council to install an alternative fountain at the entrance to Rua do Souto.
In 1966, the buildings were demolished, and the original fountain was rebuilt and opened to the public.

This monumental granite fountain, located on Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, embodies Porto's tradition of integrating public water fountains into its urban landscape.
