The city walls that still stand today, with their towers and gates, were mainly built between the 12th and 18th centuries and invite you to take a stroll with impressive views of the sea, the offshore islands, and the coast. Among the city's landmarks are the offshore Fort National, the Saint-Vincent Cathedral, and the historic harbor.

But experiencing the hustle and bustle of the actual city is unfortunately no longer possible here. A real shame.
I wouldn't have expected so many people in the off-season of the French holiday season—we were here at the end of June.
