The Mole des Noires is a 500-meter-long pier on the southwestern edge of Saint-Malo's old town. Built in the 19th century on the "Roches Noires" (Black Rocks), it serves as a breakwater to protect the harbor. At the end of the pier stands a lighthouse, offering impressive views of the old town, the Mole Beach, and the Dinard coast.
