The Rhine Falls is an impressive natural spectacle, especially after the snow has melted. The largest waterfall in Europe is 150 meters wide and 23 meters high. In summer, up to 600,000 liters per second flow down the Rhine Falls. The age is estimated at approximately 15,000 years.
Access to the north bank is free. On the southern side of the river, entry costs CHF 5 (including entry to Laufen Castle on the Rhine Falls and access to the viewing platforms).

Not quite as old as Schloss Laufen or the Schlössli Wörth is the Mühleradhaus, but still makes a lot of impression. The still running mill wheel has no function this year, the house is an "event location" part of the Rheinfallgastronomie.
