A public archaeological garden built on the ruins of a 14th-century Jacobin convent, designed to showcase and preserve these historic remains. The ruins were rediscovered in 1884 following a fire at a dye factory that had been built on the site, and the square was created in 1984 based on plans by architect Yves Lion. The garden features minimal vegetation with privet hedges and four planted squares, allowing the medieval convent ruins to remain the focal point.
