The Jewish cemetery in Fredericia, with approximately 550 graves, is the oldest and largest outside of Copenhagen.

For several generations, the Jews had their synagogue in Riddergade.
The last service in the synagogue was held in 1902,
and in 1910, the last Jew in Fredericia was buried here.

Mosaic Cemetery in Fredericia is the oldest and largest outside Copenhagen with approx. 550 burial sites. The congregation of the Jewish community, which formerly existed in Fredericia, is long gone. The burial ground is still there with the neat Hebrew inscriptions on the tombstones.
