Park Søndervold is part of Kanalbyen and is located behind new buildings and close to Lillebælt. Park Søndervold is part of the development plan for Kanalbyen.
There is also a nice playground in the park.
In the park you can also see the sculpture '2Ikinngutigiit', which means friendship in Greenlandic. The sculpture was made in 2022 by the sculptor Jens Erik Kjeldsen. Jens Erik Kjeldsen lives in Aasiaat/Egedesminde, Greenland. The sculpture weighs 4 tons and is made of Greenlandic granite .
