In 1906, the Black Forest Association Pfalzgrafenweiler built a rest and shelter on a stump of the surrounding wall and named it after the founder, Julius Nördlinger. Only a few remnants of the wall indicate that Vörbach Castle once stood here. The ruin lies on a ridge above the Waldachtal.
