The footbridge was built over the Ill at the same time as the Eiffel Tower was inaugurated.
Its dimensions are 37m in length, 3m in width and 4.50m in height.
The footbridge connects rue du Général Ducrot to Boulevard Paul Déroulède. It is also accessible from Quai Mullenheim on one side and Quai Rouget de Lisle Orangerie on the other.
It is accessible on foot or by bike only. The footbridge is closed to all motor vehicles.
