In Gedanken an Anja 🐶

A short walk through the
It's worth it. I would have loved to walk through the Parc de la Marseillaise as well. Time was running out

The biggest challenge of this tour is the 3km of rocky mountain, which you should only hike with sturdy footwear, in good weather, and based on your own experiences from previous hikes. Believe me, the "3km" are not to be underestimated, and good hiking boots are

Parking Col du Grand Ballon
If it's full due to the time of day or time of day, there are various parking lots about 2 km below for takeoff.
It was a perfect landing when I arrived at the Grand Ballon at 5:45 p.m. on the day of my arrival. The Riche family closes at 6 p.m.
Always very friendly

🙏 Season start 🥳
Last Sundays were very windy, so I decided not to go. Sun isn't necessary. But I can happily do without storms.
Today it was quite pleasant 20 degrees and little headwind.
I deliberately don't ride long on the first three trips

A gem in the Vosges Mountains.
Best not to visit on a summer weekend. Otherwise, Lac de Blanchemer offers a great place to relax between hikes or just for fun.
Lac de Blanchemer was dammed to generate electricity, and a turbine was installed at the bridge to Blanchemer for this purpose in 1958.
