No access to Strauweiler Castle! But why, then, was a chestnut avenue planted across the meadows? In 1850, it led to a building on the Dhünn River that no longer exists today! Perhaps it was a mill: t1p.de/b57fp
The actual entrance to Strauweiler Castle is 1 km south. It's called "Lindenallee." But it also ends at a locked gate that only authorized visitors are allowed to pass through.
