Hiking

The forest fire at Altkönig occurred in the past and caused great damage in the area around Altkönig. The fire was particularly devastating in the Taunus forest and led to extensive destruction of trees and vegetation. Fortunately, measures have since been taken to renaturalize the area and protect the forest. Today, you can once again enjoy the beauty of nature in the region, even if the traces of the fire are still partially visible.
