Park Praski, founded in 1865 by Tsar Alexander III, initially covered around 30 hectares, but part of its area was designated in 1928 for the Municipal Zoo. It currently covers 18.5 hectares and is characterized by a rich stand of trees, including London plane trees, sweet chestnuts and Japanese ginkgos. The park contains sculptures, including a bust of Eliza Orzeszkowa and animal figures, including a giraffe by Władysław Frycz. Another popular attraction is the "miśki" - an enclosure for brown bears from 1952. The park is a venue for numerous outdoor events and is subject to conservation protection.
