Two unpaved ravines cross at this point. Beautiful. One would like to go all ways. Difficult decision at the eponymous crossroads of the Kreuzhohle. One of the last natural ravines in the area. The Kreuzhohle is part of the old local connection "Alter Unteröwisheimer Weg" and has been designated as an extensive natural monument since May 2, 1986. In addition to the dense stock of hedges in the actual area of the cave, there is also dry grassland rich in species in the area of the Cross Cave

The ravine is about 150 meters long and up to 8 meters deep. It was created by centuries of erosion and was probably already used as a traffic and trade route in ancient times. The name of the Kreuzhohle derives from a stone cross that is located at the end of the ravine and probably dates from the 16th century. Today, the Kreuzhohle is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers who want to discover the natural beauty and historical significance of the ravine.

The Kreuzhole is one of several sunken paths. It is very nice to enjoy the nature and slopes to the right and left of the path.
