Road chapel dedicated to Saint Roch, probably rebuilt in 1933 on the site where a chapel in honor of Our Lady and Saint Roch previously stood (since 1849). That chapel was founded by the residents of the Breestraeten district out of gratitude that they were spared from the cholera epidemic that was hitting Merchtem at that time.
