The Corpus Christi chapel is located directly opposite the town church. In the chapel small events take place regularly. In addition, the chapel is considered during the day as a room of silence.

The chapel was built in 1456. It was formerly surrounded by a cemetery, on the u.A. a son of Luther and three children of Cranach's were buried.
March 28, 2019
The chapel was donated by Konrad Wynmann around 1368. The current building was built after 1456 at the expense of Georg von Zülsdorf. The Chapel of the Holy Body served as a cemetery chapel.
