The high school in need of renovation was rebuilt at the end of the 1990s according to plans by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser and completed in 1999. The interior of the Wittenberg school was designed by the artist and students together in Hundertwasser's style.
Today the school impresses with many bright colors and a green roof.
